From a young age, I have been told by my grandpa, “Champions adjust.” He put into perspective that true winners don’t give up. Success is not from a trophy, certificate, plaque, etc. but rather the determination. Determination is the drive to never settle, to never surrender to what is holding you back, to be the best version of yourself.
Who/what has shaped you into who you are now?
Through the greatest times & most trying times in my life, my support system has continued to grow stronger. I have been inspired by my family, health professionals, teammates, and coaches. Each brought a new challenge and life lesson that has shaped me into the person I am today. I aspire to be courageous, compassionate, driven, and light in someone’s life, just like they all have been.
Favorite things to do in free time?
When I have free time, I enjoy working out & trying new tunes piano and guitar. These all relieve my stress and allow for some relaxation. As life gets busier, taking time for myself is very important to me.
I aspire to be in a profession that helps others in need. I have chosen to take the career path for becoming a Radiologic Technologist. I would also like to specialize in that field for MRI imaging. This health profession interests me and I also know that I am doing this for the benefit of others.
