Mckenna Fred | Class of 2020

What are your career aspirations?
I have career aspirations of going into Healthcare Administration. I want to be able to work within the healthcare field without working in direct-patient care. I’m good with organization and decision-making which is what that career is all about.

What quote do you love?
The quote I live by on a daily basis is “The only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday.” (I’m not sure who it’s by)

How do you feel about graduation?
My feelings about graduation are very mixed. I’m disappointed but not surprised. I feel that the way you respond to failure is what creates your successes. Dwelling on the loss won’t make it reappear. Graduation was just the culmination of everything. We still graduated even if we didn’t get to walk across the stage. In the grand scheme of things, graduation is only four hours out of our entire lives. This setback should make us all rethink our priorities and realize that we achieve straight A’s or perfect attendance for ourselves and not for the recognition
