On that note, here are three tips for planning your senior photo outfits:

1) Make one of your looks timeless

Whether this be wearing your cap and gown, your team jersey, or just a simple outfit with some props like trophies, medals, etc. wear something that will have meaning for years to come. Ask yourself – what colors are you drawn to? Any in particular that you feel your best in? This is a way to lean into your true style and what feels most like YOU.

2) Something for mom

Now hear me out… Remember, we print these image on grad announcements and party invites, and mail them to family members and friends! So what is something mom or grandma or Aunt Cathy would LOVE seeing you in!? 

3) Something fun for yourself

Express your personal style with fun pieces that make you feel like YOU! Colors, patterns, shapes, whatever compliments you best. It may be out of style in 10 years and you may look back and give yourself a facepalm, but it’s what makes senior pictures special – showing off who you are in this time of your life.⁣⁣

PRO TIP: Think about your skin tone + undertone, hair color, and eye color when planning your outfits. 

That’s right, your skin tone and undertone, hair color, and eye color will help you plan your outfits. For example: if you have blue ⁣⁣eyes, lean into a blue outfit to make your eyes pop. Another example: if you have red hair, plan to wear something green for one of your outfits to compliment your beautiful hair color!

So there you have it, three things to keep in mind when planning out outfits for your senior session.
