This year is a big deal around here… It’s YEAR TEN of the Sarah Jane Photography Mod Squad! And it keeps getting better year after year…

I am so excited to kick off another unforgettable Mod Squad year, and that means applications are opening SOON for the next group of SJP seniors. If you have been watching the Mod Squad magic unfold and wondering if it could be you next, this is your sign.

Mod Squad applications open Sunday, March 1st and close Sunday, March 8th.

So what exactly is the Mod Squad?

The SJP Mod Squad is so much more than senior photos. It is a once in a lifetime experience during your senior year where you get to meet new friends from different schools, build confidence, and be part of something truly special. Yes, we create insanely fun and beautiful images together, but at the heart of it all is connection, encouragement, and celebrating exactly who you are.

My number one goal every year is to create a safe, welcoming space where every senior feels seen, valued, and celebrated. I believe deeply that everyone is beautiful, and when you surround yourself with kind, supportive, and authentic people, something really powerful happens. Add in creative shoots, fun locations, and lots of laughter, and the result is pure magic.

More than photos. It is a sisterhood.

One of the most incredible parts of the Mod Squad is watching complete strangers turn into close friends. Seniors come from different schools, different circles, and different backgrounds, and by the end of the year, they are cheering each other on like lifelong friends. In a world that can feel competitive or comparison heavy, Mod Squad is all about real connection, encouragement, and lifting each other up.

As I soak up these last moments with the current squad, I cannot help but feel so excited for what is coming next. The Class of 2027 Mod Squad is going to be something really special.
