What do you plan on studying in college?
I plan to attend Bradley University and study nursing this fall. Nursing is a demanding but rewarding job. When you see families happy that their loved one goes home, that is the real reward. I hope to become a Pediatric nurse because I enjoy being around kids and love seeing their baffled expression to things you say!

What do you love about your hometown?
I love my home town Grant Park. The small community allows me the chance to know everyone. The town is very friendly with people who look out for you. Grant Park is a huge farm town and this is the main reason I live here because I come form a farming family. I would not of wanted to grow up anywhere else!!

Words of wisdom?
My words of wisdom: “sometimes you just gotta let things go”. I try to live up to this because life offers so much more. It is not healthy to dwell in the past, but to look forward to the future and what it has to offer. So, just remember you will feel 100x better once you stop thinking about it.
