This past year, my sweet girl, Ava Jane started dance for the first time. Can we say holy MAMA TEARS, for me! It has been so much fun to see her grown and change in this small group class. And those cute pink shoes and mini-bun (oh so mini for her). Watching her gallop and learn to skip, “properly,” lol, lots-o-laughs with that one! We have some great organizations in this town but have to say that Paula Aubry is a gem! So appreciate the time and talent of all of the teachers. I had a blast capturing some of their marketing material for the second year in a row!

So, the other day I had the chance to watch Sarah shoot Paula Aubry School of Dance’s promotional photos, and let me tell you…it was amazing!! I absolutely LOVED watching Sarah at this shoot. She will do ANYTHING to get the perfect photo, even if it means lying upside down on the floor! But what could be better than taking photos of such talented dancers?! Working with all those beautiful dancers was a blast! The photos reflect an everyday dance class, and the dancers’ ages range from four all the way to 18. Each of the girls and boys was adorable and had the best smiles! The studios had huge, beautiful windows in all the classrooms (which can be a challenge when it comes to lighting in photos) but the lighting was just PERFECT! The day could not have gone better! (Especially since we listened to The Greatest Showman throughout the shoot.) Thank you, Paula Aubry!
