Mod Squad 2026: Capped & Committed Photoshoot

Every once in a while, a Mod Squad photoshoot comes to life exactly the way you’ve been dreaming about it, and this one was just that.

Sarah Jane Photography introduced Capped & Committed as a brand new styled shoot this year, and it quickly became one of the most meaningful shoots of the entire season. Created as the final photoshoot with my Class of 2026 Mod Squad girls, this session was all about celebrating who they are, everything they’ve accomplished, and the exciting paths ahead of them.

And truly, it could not have been a more perfect way to close out their senior year.

Celebrating the Journey

Senior year is filled with so many moments. Big wins, quiet growth, and everything in between. This shoot was designed to honor all of it.

From the long nights studying to the early mornings, from extracurriculars to lifelong friendships, these girls have poured so much into their high school years. Capped & Committed was a chance to pause and celebrate that journey before stepping into what’s next.

Seeing them together, reflecting on how far they’ve come, was something really special.

Caps, Gowns, and What Comes Next

We fully embraced the moment with graduation caps and gowns, paired with college gear that represents their next chapter. Each detail of this shoot told a story, not just of where they’ve been, but where they’re headed.

There’s something so powerful about documenting that in-between season. The space where everything feels possible. The excitement, the nerves, the anticipation… It was all there, and it made this shoot feel incredibly meaningful.

This wasn’t just about senior photos. It was about stepping into the future with confidence.

The Perfect Spring Day

As if the meaning behind this shoot wasn’t enough, we were also gifted the most beautiful spring day. Sunshine, soft light, and that fresh feeling that only this time of year brings – it all came together in the best way.

It felt like the perfect reflection of the season these girls are in. A fresh start, full of possibility.

While this was the very first Capped & Committed shoot, I can already tell you—it won’t be the last. This styled shoot instantly became a new favorite and such a special way to wrap up the Mod Squad experience. There’s something about ending the year with intention, celebration, and a moment to truly soak it all in.

I have no doubt this will become a staple for future classes, and I cannot wait to continue building on this tradition for years to come.

To my Mod Squad girls – what an honor it has been to walk alongside you this year. Watching you grow, create, and step confidently into who you are has been such a joy.

This shoot was the perfect ending to an unforgettable season.
